Mad Meg with two Sisters of Sigmar by her side. |
Mordheim 2022 is less than a week away, and I am happy to say I finished painting another model to supplement my Sisters of Sigmar warband from Mordheim 2019. She is a converted version of the Mad Meg promotional model sculpted by Michael Anderson for the Mordheim 2019 event. I have had the model unpainted for quite some time, and am happy to say she finally has paint on her, and she can join the other veteran Sisters of Sigmar!
I experimented with painting several different tones of worn leather on the model. |
I removed the fish Meg was holding to give her a shield that I could paint heraldry on. Special thanks to hagenpinxit for helping me develop the hand symbol. |
I gave the model an eye-patch to suggest her age and that she is a hardened warrior. |
I painted her base to look like broken stone tiles from a monastery. |
From left to right: unconverted Mad Meg model, converted Mad Meg for the Sisters of Sigmar. |
In addition to giving Mad Meg a hammer, I also converted her bag into more of a satchel with a clasped flap. |
Fantastic - the hammer looks a lot more realistic - and the leather all looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words! I really enjoy painting leather!
