We hope the new edition of Kill Team will be great for Inq28 style games! |
In this episode we are joined by our friend and fellow podcaster Scrap.code to discuss the newly revealed edition of Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team. We talk about the rules that have currently been shown via the Warhammer Community page, focusing on how the new edition appears to diverge from classic Warhammer 40k. We consider how much the miniature skirmish game landscape has expanded over the last few years and how important it is that Games Workshop is incorporating elements of modern game design to simplify and streamline gameplay.

Good episode, as usual. Interesting that you talked about the game and not really about the models that much at all!
ReplyDeleteFor me I have little interest in the rules as all GW rules releases in the last 10 years seem to require you to continue buying more and more books just to keep up - but if the rules are an innovative change I may be tempted...somehow I doubt they will be though.
Yeah, we certainly do not often talk about rules, but I am still generally interested in them in how they could pertain to inq28 stuff. But as you suggested, I don't really care for most of their rulesets that just require you to buy more and more models. I hope this one is different, but you are right that it probably isn't...
